Job Description

Client: A US based tech (SAAS) Startup that is a provider of Field Service Automation Solutions.

Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Work with CS team members and internal cross-functional teams (product, sales, QA & engineering) to ensure customer’s issues are addressed timely.
  • Responsible for Defining QA strategy, approach and execution in development projects.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
  • Be accountable for the test automation projects, mentor, and provide leadership to the QA automation developers.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance and Testing.
  • Focus on continuous QA improvements including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques, test automation.
  • Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
  • Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the product.
  • Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of Risk Management, Risk Identification and Risk Based Testing.

Technical Skills / Requirements:

  • Very strong written and verbal presentation/communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-driven. Loves to take ownership.
  • Effective listening, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Located or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
  • Be a strong leader with experience in implementing and shaping the company’s QA processes and strategies.
  • Have strong technical skills, both functional and non-functional, manual and automation, ideally in a continuous delivery environment.
  • Should have hands-on experience test management and bug tracking tools such as Zendesk, Jira and/equivalent, postman/SOAPUI, Apache JMeter.
  • Test Automation : You are acquainted with test automation using selenium or equivalent tools.
  • Database : You should be familiar with low-level testing and database querying.
  • API Testing using Postman or Swagger
  • Agile / Scrum: You work in a fast-moving agile environment with minimum supervision.
  • Should be familiar with GIT, SVN, ANT and other related technologies.
  • Should have Solid SQL skills.
  • Proven work experience in Mobile App Testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Proven work experience in implementing Mobile App automation testing methodologies.
  • Proven work experience in continuous integration and delivery.
  • Proven work experience in implementing Automation for Mobile app testing using Appium or equivalent tools.
