Client: A cutting-edge start-up at the intersection of education and metaverse, that is about to disrupt education in a BIG way.

Description:

As a Senior Product Manager on the team, your role will be to define how the product will shape up and you will be responsible for its success along with the triad of engineering and design. As the PM you will own the product strategy and will drive the execution.

Responsibilities:

• Product strategy: Setting and communicating clearly the short and long-term product strategy for the product given the business goals which includes defining what success means. Understanding the market landscape and major technology trends shaping the industry.
• Product roadmap: Translating the strategy into a product roadmap made up of regular milestones building on lean deliverables. Having a clear understanding of hypotheses that have gone into decision making and regularly validating them through quantitative and qualitative methods.
• Driving execution: Translating the product roadmap into functional and non-functional requirements which can be consumed by the team to build the product. Working with engineering and design managers to run the scrum teams of engineers and designers and unblocking them by working with cross-functional teams.

What are we looking for in a Candidate?

• 3-7 years of experience doing core product management work on a high tech product. Some experience taking products on the 0-1 journey will be preferred.
• Experience working in edtech or metaverse is a bonus.
• No particular education requirements. Having an MBA and/or an engineering degree in Computer Science is a bonus.
• High agency and decent tech affinity is a must.
